Background


Every year L'Oréal invites talented students for the summer career program A Taste of L'Oréal. This event is not just a selection task, but a real opportunity to express yourself in solving business cases, get feedback from L'Oréal experts, chat with them informally and, of course, practice in networking.
Task
To develop an offbeat concept for the event where students will pass an internship assessment and just have a great time.


Idea
A Taste of L'Oréal is a two-month summer internship where youngsters get their first professional experience right during the holidays. For them, the program is associated with summer, parties, sun and sea, heat and vivid impressions. We chose a summer theme for the event to convey these pleasant emotions to the students: Hawaii, tropics, surfing, vacation and everything about it.



Solution
Hawaii style was everywhere: in a photo corner, snacks for guests, organizers' clothing, welcome packs and other details.

At the entrance each student received Lei, a wreath of Hawaiian flowers, and a shopper bag with sun care products of L'Oréal brands.

Participants striked poses in front of a tropical selfie mirror and took pics with surfs and flamingos in Hawaiian photo corner.

Mentors from L'Oréal were dressed totally tropical — wreaths of flowers and T-shirts with "Summer is coming" title.

Snacks for guests also were special: fresh fruit, coconut desserts and canapes with seafood.




Perhaps only a sea breeze wasn't delivered to L'Oréal office in Moscow!
Communication
For the guests we created special summer sticker packs about chilling and surfing digital. The same messages appeared in the design of the hall — on screens, in a photo corner and on pointers. Feel our good vibes & shine bright like L'Oréal!
